I could get used to the Nittany Lions becoming one of the teams who regulalrly play that day. I did venture out for a quick errand and made it back in one piece in a resonable amount of time. It also used to come with a built-in excuse to stay in (“Better just stay in today, it’s too crazy out there with all those shoppers”), but that’s not as useful with most people doing their Black Friday shopping online.
You survived the holiday, sleep in a little, and enjoy some weekday college football with a giant plate of leftovers. Black Friday is my favorite day of the year.
